What’s New for the latest model?
The new variant of Skoda Kodiaq 2022 features plenty of upgrades made to the interior and exterior of the car. The all-new model is more refined in line with Skoda models like the new Octavia and incorporates a more luxurious interior than its predecessors. Starting from the front, the car has new slimmer split headlights with high-tech Matrix LED lights. The new upright chrome grille and a remolded bumper reinforce the Kodiaq’s bold appearance. The rear features a new spoiler extending from the roofline and crystal LED tail lights that add to the car’s beauty.

The entry-level Skoda Kodiaq 2022 comes with a list of new handy features like privacy glass, 19-inch ally rims, silver roof rails. Whereas, Kodiaq Sportline features 20-inch wheels, black contrast door mirrors, roof rains and window frames giving the car a sharper look. The interior of Sportline has Alcantara leather sports seats and a leather steering wheel. The RS variant of Kodiaq comes with new 20-inch Sagittarius ‘Aero’ alloy rims fitting over red brake calipers.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance
Both Kodiaq: Style and Sportline incorporate a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces power of 132 kW and a torque of 320 Nm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and 4×4 wheel drive.
Skoda has stopped offering the diesel engine in Kodiaq RS and has replaced it with a new 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine that gives the car power of 180 kW and 370 Nm of torque. RS variant is also mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.
The new petrol in the RS is a lot lighter, up to 60 kg less in weight than the old diesel engine it replaced, whereas the DSG gearbox has also stripped another 5.2 kg off the car.
The Interior and Comfort of the car
The all-new Skoda Kodiaq features an interior as fresh as its exterior an exemplary quality of workmanship and precision. The interior has been upgraded with a new steering wheel, decorative trims, extended stitching and LED ambient lights. The new model of Kodiaq comes with perforated leather seats, ventilation, and massage functions. The front seats are electrically adjustable. Skoda also offers Kodiaq with vegan seat covers made of recycled material. Customers can also avail of the option of a large panoramic sunroof with a sunshade letting plenty of daylight into the car.
